The Center for Nonprofit Excellence, a program of United Way of Central New Mexico, is funded through United Way's Corporate Cornerstones program and the generous support of United Way's Community Fund donors.  CNPE also receives sponsorship support from the Albuquerque Community Foundation and other funders.   We offer training and networking opportunities to build the capacity of nonprofits in central New Mexico.

Throughout our website you will find tools, information, training and networking opportunities geared toward strengthening nonprofits. 

Our resources section offers information, networking and training opportunities related to fundraising, board development, financial management, leadership, technology and other resources.

The training and events section of our site includes upcoming training opportunities hosted by CNPE, community training events that can help strengthen nonprofit capacity, and relevant online training opportunities as well.  In this section you will also find local peer networks for nonprofit executive leadership, young nonprofit professionals, and fundraising professionals.

CNPE offers two excellent resources for nonprofits and the broader community-- the New Mexico Grantmakers Directory and the New Mexico Nonprofit Directory.  We ask all nonprofits to take a look at the Nonprofit Directory, and if your organization isn't currently listed please submit your information to us.
