Main Areas of Responsibility: 
•The intern will identity relevant and accurate resources for people affected by MS and connect people to these resources. •The intern will increase our resource list by 20% and update 80% of our current records.
Additional Areas of Responsibility: 
Job Duties: •Identify previously unknown community resources throughout the chapter service area •Obtain comprehensive information about those resources •Update known information currently in database •Identify resources that are no longer available and need to be deleted •Identify new potential partnerships •Connect clients to resources •Meet with community service providers when needed to build long-term collaboration between agencies.
Other Information/Requirements: 
Required Skills: •Ability to represent the National MS Society in a professional manner •Strong organizational skills •Ability to engage others in conversation and solicit needed information •Effective verbal communication skills •Computer skills •Crisis intervention Compensation: •Intern will be paid $1,000 per semester for approximately 20 hours of work per week.
