Main Areas of Responsibility:
Manages the development, recruitment and training of volunteers in 21 counties within the Red Cross Mid-Rio Grande Chapter's jurisdiction. Responsible for the delivery of systems of casework and disaster relief functions consistent with established guidelines of the Mid-Rio Grande Chapter. Responsible for implementation of the Disaster Action Plan that is responsive to national and local disaster relief needs. Assist with the department's goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Requires occassional evening meetings and the ability to be on-call as needed. Travel to all 21 counties required; must pass a background check and MBD checks. Must be available for occassional national disaster assignments for long periods of time, usually under adverse conditions.
