By helping find permanent, safe, and loving adoptive families who will nurture and support children as they grow to adulthood, The Adoption Exchange helps at-risk children develop into successful adults and New Mexico build healthy communities.
Position Description:
Advisory board member for a local non-profit children and family services organization. Provides organzational support for programs and fundraising and strategic planning to serve New Mexico's waiting children.
Expectations:
support the organization financially
serve for a 2 year term
endorse the mission of The Adoption Exchange and get involved with the organization in an active manner.
attend a monthly Advisory Board meeting.
serve on at least one committee and attend at least one Adoption Exchange event annually.
work well with other board members to put the mission of the Adoption Exchange first
introduce friends and associates to The Adoption Exchange.
