This session will walk participants through the process of prospect research, while highlighting myths about research and what ethical standards must be applied. Presentation will discuss strategies and resources to use in researching individuals, what kind of information to search for, how to assemble a research profile, and what information sources are available on the internet.
Jessica Haynie is the Founder & Principal Consultant at Three Stones Consulting LLC, focusing on fundraising and philanthropic strategy. Over the last seven years, Jessica's career has taken her down the path of working with nonprofits, primarily in fundraising, but also with small businesses and entrepreneurs as she earned her M.B.A. from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. It is there where she focused her studies on social entrepreneurship and nonprofit management.
