About Us
The Center for Nonprofit Excellence is a resource center designed to build the capacity of nonprofits in New Mexico. The Center is sponsored by United Way of Central New Mexico's Corporate Cornerstones program - companies who choose to direct their corporate gifts to pay UWCNM’s administrative costs; and the Albuquerque Community Foundation.
The Center is governed jointly by the Albuquerque Community Foundation Board of Trustees, the United Way of Central New Mexico Board of Directors, and our own Community Advisory Board. The Center was started in October, 2005.
Partnerships and collaborations with the business and nonprofit communities enable us to provide a comprehensive array of services in the following areas:
Services are available to all nonprofits throughout the state of New Mexico, but focused in the central New Mexico region with an emphasis on the counties of Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia. Web services are designed with an emphasis on statewide needs.
