The workshop is geared to nonprofits that want to use a method to analyze strengths and weaknesses, and build the organization. The workshop will provide nonprofits with a broad understanding of the impact of the fiscal crisis and other stressors on New Mexico nonprofits, and provide tools to use to assess the organization and build strategies to respond.

Learning Objectives
- Understand the impact of the fiscal crisis and other stressors on individual agencies and the sector
- Understand and use sustainability benchmarks to analyze strengths and weaknesses
- Create a plan outline to use sustainability benchmarks to strengthen the organization

- Improved understanding of the issues and trends affecting nonprofits
- Ability to use benchmarks to assess the organization
- Have a plan in place to build the organization's sustainability

Anne Hays Egan is an organizational development consultant to nonprofits. She is based in Placitas, near Santa Fe, NM. She has worked with hundreds of nonprofits throughout the United States, focusing on strategic planning, organizational development, evaluation and interagency service network development. Her work has been cited in nonprofit management association networks, funding networks and association groups. She is the former publisher of the Digest of Nonprofit Management, and Tools for Nonprofits. She has consulted, taught and published widely.
