Leveraging Organizational Diversity through Cultural Competency

Are you seeking to maximize the potential of your nonprofit staff and volunteers?  Have you leveraged diversity as a means to develop leadership? The benefits of a culturally diverse team are enormous: increased productivity, innovation and responsiveness to community needs.  In this training, you will develop the skills and knowledge to improve communication and understanding of colleagues and clients.

This session is for those seeking to build successful and sustainable teams within your organization. The workshop will explore the impact of culture on values and behavior within organizations and help identify those behaviors which may be an obstacle to your values on diversity. Participants will reflect on and examine their own cultural norms, then identify components of  their organization's culture and how it influences behavior. Learn to develop stronger and more respectful relationships, teams, and organizations across differences.
