NEW DATE: Reading and Understanding Financial Statements

Do you understand your organization's financial statements?  Can you compare budget to actuals?  This workshop will enable board members and executive directors to read financial statements and ask meaningful questions.

Learning Objectives
- understand how to interpret nonprofit financials
- be able to compare year-to-date actuals with the project budget
- know the warning signs of the finances going off track

Board members and executive directors who want to gain a clear understanding of the numbers and be able to assess the financial health of the organization.

Presenter
John Murrel, CPA, Clifton Larsen Allen.  Joh has over 20 years' experience in both public and private industries.  He has over 10 years' with nonprofit and single audit experience.  John has a BA in Economics from UCLA, is a Certified Public Accountant in New Mexico and California.  He is a member of the Clifton Larsen Allen instructor group, training other staff.
