Dr. Paul Gorski, renowned for his work in helping organizations build competencies necessary to authenticate diversity and advance educational equity in schools and communities, will keynote at the Intercultural Education Symposium to be held Saturday, November 6, 2010, 9 am – 4 pm, at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Local experts and advocates for educational equity will also present and facilitate opportunities for participants to both network and engage in thought provoking processes to foster greater awareness of institutional barriers to equity. Participants will be introduced to analyses designed to support their serving as effective change agents.
The primary objective of the symposium is to create a sustainable coalition of educational leaders and allies committed to advocacy and action until educational equity is achieved.
