Basic Topics
Handling a Motion – Motions bring business to the assembly. Learn the basic steps for writing and carrying out the procedures for processing a motion.
Conducting a Meeting – Gain confidence and learn techniques for carrying out the basic procedures of conducting an effective meeting with efficiency and fairness.
Voting Procedures – Robert’s Rules gives directives for several voting procedures. Practice the techniques for carrying out each of these procedures.
Advanced Topics
Writing Bylaws – Robert’s Rules of Order outlines specific articles to be included when writing bylaws. Learn to write bylaws tailor-made to your organization.
Interpreting Bylaws – The language in bylaws can be interpreted in more than one way. Gain information that will assist organizations in avoiding controversy caused by interpretation of terms.
Amending Bylaws – Bylaws are amended when it is necessary to make changes in the content. Learn the specific procedures that must be followed when amending bylaws.

Courses are taught by Professional Registered and Registered Parliamentarians and are in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised, Tenth Edition.
