11-4-2022 Getting the Word Out About Your Work, Santa Fe

Santa Fe Community Foundation
Many nonprofits pay little attention to the ways in which external communication can raise visibility and increase the bottom line. In this workshop, participants will learn to identify target audiences and key media for those audiences, take advantage of free media opportunities and work with members of the press. This class is for anyone interested in learning more about how to increase public awareness of their organization’s work.

For 14 years, Dottie Indyke was a journalist and communications consultant to New Mexico nonprofits. She is the former vice president of programming and marketing for the National Cable Television Association and founder/director of public relations for the Peabody Award-winning Children’s Radio Theater. She is currently Executive Director of Creativity for Peace.
