UNM Nonprofit Management MGMT 558

Nonprofit Management (MGMT 558) is a graduate-level seminar course that will be offered at the Anderson School of Management in the spring 2009 semester.  The course meets on Thursdays, 4 to 6:30 pm, from January 22 through May 14.  The general topics in the course will include executive leadership in nonprofit organizations, planning and development, performance and accountability, resource development and management, and organizational ethics. 

The course instructor is Sitara Harvey-Cook, EdM, who has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and development.  She is currently managing partner of NonprofitDesigns and consults widely on nonprofit issues.  She is also on the National Board of Directors of the YWCA USA.  She has a master's degree from Harvard University and professional training at Harvard's School of Law and School of Education.

This course provides 3 units of academic credit.  For information on how to enroll in the course as a nondegree student, please contact Annie Glission at the Anderson School of Management.
