Main Areas of Responsibility: 
Purpose: Under the supervision of the Executive Director, and reporting to the Board Treasurer, this part-time employee (up to 15 hours per week) is to perform the various financial and accounting duties to enable the organization to operate efficiently and effectively.
Additional Areas of Responsibility: 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Data entry in QuickBooks; Pay bills, make bank deposits and prepare checks; Reconcile bank accounts; Prepare biweekly payroll; Prepare monthly financial, program and grant reports; Assist with annual budget process; Maintain Financial Policies and Procedures Manual; Assist in future audit processes; Assist CPA with annual taxes; Assist ED and Board Treasurer in periodic review of books and records; Other duties as needed
Other Information/Requirements: 
Qualifications: QuickBooks, Microsoft office, email and Internet proficiency, attention to detail, organized. Education and/or Experience: Minimum Associates degree in accounting, 3 years experience in accounting/bookkeeping, nonprofit experience required. Compensation: $15 hour
