Main Areas of Responsibility: 

(ABQ) provide instruction to students enrolled in the Adult Education Program in areas such as Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Educational Development (GED), and English as a Second Language (ESL). Maintains current records on all students, including accurate attendance records; Respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the Agency’s clients.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Your assignment is on an “as needed basis” therefore it requires your ability to be available upon limited prior notice.

Other Information/Requirements: 

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required; three years’ experience teaching adults preferred; multicultural experience preferred; certification in TESOL or bilingual education for ESL preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred and basic computer competency in MS Office and Windows required.
