Advancement Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 
Plan, supervise, execute, and evaluate advancement activities for the Institute and all of its programs. The activities include but are not limited to development (fundraising), marketing, government appropriations, endowment creation, public relations, grants, bequests, special events, and public information through timely and state-of-the-art production of print, audio, video, and/or digital media.
Additional Areas of Responsibility: 
Coordinate with other Institute program directors as needed to assure all advancement materials and activities are accurate, and to focus activities as needed to support and cooperate with Institute partners.
Other Information/Requirements: 
Caving experience or advanced knowledge of caves and karst, while certainly welcome and helpful, are not required for this job. The Advancement Director will play a vital role in generating funds and support to continue building NCKRI’s staff and programs, which includes assisting NCKRI’s friends and partners whenever possible.
