Annual Giving Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Primary responsibility will be to manage annual giving programs, including, direct mail appeals, newsletters, grant writing and various employee giving campaigns. The AGM will focus their efforts on mid-level donors by designing and implementing unique communication (face-to-face, print & social media) tactics for our diverse giving groups. The AGM will work closely with our Development Specialists to assure donor details are captured and gifts are acknowledged in a prompt manner.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Manage Direct Mail Campaign. Manage content, editing, production and fulfillment of quarterly newsletters. Manage Grants Program. Maintain Monthly Giving Program. Coordinate Annual United Way Employee Giving Campaign and Combined Federal Campaign fundraising and outreach. Prepare annual report. Coordinate Telephone Thank-a-Thon. Steward Businesses/organizations that have numerous employees designating Animal Humane via annual giving programs. Research new partnership and fundraising opportunities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Education-Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business or related field
Proven fundraiser. Success in growing giving campaigns & securing grants. Self-starter; monitor performance objectives to meet goals & deadlines. Strong data management skills. Outstanding communicator verbal and written. Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to motivate. Wildly creative, innovative & fun. Knowledge of donor software spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail & Internet skills.
