Assistant to the President

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Assistant to the President (AP) plays a key role in providing outstanding executive support to Accion’s President/CEO and Board of Directors related to governance, organizational operations, customer service and community relations. The AP enthusiastically upholds Accion’s organizational values of passion, pioneering spirit, integrity, excellence and accountability.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The AP provides outstanding administrative and clerical support to the President/CEO and Board; supports community relations and provides outstanding customer service to all organizational stakeholders; supports organizational goal fulfillment; coordinates and maintains the CEO’s calendar; schedules and coordinates meeting and event logistics; researches and prepares presentations, reports and other materials; edits and reviews correspondence; maintains effective filing systems, and other duties as required.

The AP must have superb interpersonal and problem-solving skills and deliver outstanding customer service; be highly organized, accountable and have excellent follow-through; be detail-oriented, efficient and able to take action; excel at handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines; and convey warmth and professionalism.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor of Arts degree and five years of executive, administrative or secretarial experience.
