Bilingual (English & Spanish) Therapist - F/T or P/T

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under general supervision of the Clinical Director, the full-time OR part-time therapist will provide professional individual, group, and family therapy to anyone, age 13 years or older, who has been impacted by sexual violence in English AND Spanish. The therapist will also conduct assessments, treatment planning, and case coordination. As needed, Rape Crisis Center therapists also provide crisis intervention and facilitate emergency services.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Participate in weekly group consultation, supervision, and clinical meetings with other RCCCNM therapists.
• Design and implement systems to maintain professional documentation and record keeping for client files.
• Coordinate activities of the counseling program with activities of other RCCCNM programs.
• Participation in the provision of RCCCNM volunteer education, as needed.
• Supervise interns and volunteers, as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• A Master’s degree and New Mexico licensure in Counseling (LPCC, LMHC), Art Therapy (LPAT), Social Work (LMSW, LISW), or related discipline. Independent licensure preferred.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Experience working with survivors of sexual assault and abuse desired.
• Maintaining licensing and continuing education per RCCCNM needs and professional standards.
• Successful applicants must complete the RCCCNM 40-hour Advocate Training.
