Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Bilingual Victim Advocate is responsible for providing crisis intervention and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones.

*The position requires response to Spanish and English calls on the hotline and providing in-person advocacy.
*The Bilingual Victim Advocate may also provide legal advocacy as needed.
*Must maintain accurate files and records of each service provided in accordance with agency standards.
*Responsible for social media and community outreach.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor degree (Social Sciences or related field)
• A minimum of one year direct service experience
• Must have grant writing and reporting experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must have networking skills and outreach experience
• Must obtain Criminal Records Background clearance
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in Spanish and English
• Must be able to take initiative and work independently
