Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Casa Q is seeking uniquely talented, compassionate, and professional individuals to provide advocacy and support to LGBTQ youth ages 14-18 in a residential setting. Residential Youth Advocates provide direct care and supervision of residents, integrate and apply philosophies into everyday practice and create healthy, safe, empowered environments for youth.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide direct care and supervision of residents in compliance with policies, procedures, contracts and other regulations. Ensure the health and safety of clients. Provide continuity of care by participating in the implementation of individual resident plans. Provide one on one and group life skills as well as crisis intervention. Must be able to work independently and as part of the team to ensure that the highest quality care and services are provided to clients.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Associate's degree and at least 2 years of experience working with at risk youth, in mental health, or with homeless populations. Prefer candidates with prior experience in Trauma Informed Care, Strengths Based approaches or Positive Youth Development models. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to pass comprehensive criminal, sexual offender, MVD background checks. Must have car, valid driver’s license, and meet state required automobile insurance minimums.
