Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Specialist conducts orientation, determines eligibility, provides counseling and case management, provides job readiness activities, establishes participant Individual Employment Plans, maintains communication with participants, conducts follow-up for placement data, adheres to Federal, State and local provisions under WIOA, maintains detailed participant records, recruits job seekers within target populations, and works with approved training providers.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and a self-starter with excellent communication, presentation and computer skills; the candidate must have the ability to manage their time well, be reliable, and display a willingness to learn; they will have excellent customer service skills, be community minded, have experience working with a diverse population and business to business experience; and professional attitude and attire are necessary.
