Main Areas of Responsibility:
Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity, a local 501(C)3, is looking for a dynamic individual to lead the Development & Communications Department. This FT, exempt, salaried position requires excellent organizational and collaborative skills. The Development & Communications Director will create and implement a strategic plan (aligned to Habitat’s and BOD’s strategic plan) to raise funds for the organization in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This position also includes: Managing Donor Stewardship, Annual Giving, Major and Minor Gifts, Faith Relations, Home Sponsorships, as well as providing internal leadership for Habitat’s Grants Process, Special Events and Planned Giving Activities.
Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; and at least three (3) years of experience in charitable fund-raising or equivalent experience. Position requires exceptional organizational skills to include project management, setting timelines and identifying resources for each project; sound written and oral communications skills. Experience with SaleForce is beneficial and must be competent in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience processing State Tax Credits is also valuable.
