Development & Special Events Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: •Coordinate, evaluate and expand fundraising and outreach programs under the direction of the Branch Manager and in collaboration with the Regional/National resource team and volunteer leadership. •Expand fundraising and development activities and volunteer participation designed to increase the identification, education, cultivation, and stewardship of donors and volunteers.
Additional Areas of Responsibility: 
•Network with and solicit new corporate sponsorships. •Partner with Branch Manager to identify, solicit, recruit and develop volunteers for all assigned committees of the chapter. •Manage and maintain accurate and complete financial records for each event. Work within approved Branch event budget, insuring that expenses are “at” or “below” budget. •Assist in the functioning of the Branch’s daily operations, projects, and tasks.
Other Information/Requirements: 
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: •Bachelor’s degree preferred. •3+ years of relevant experience. •Experience with computer systems and databases. Proficient in Microsoft Office. •Excellent written, oral, and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Bilingual •Sales Experience •Experience with Adobe Creative Suite •Experience with e-mail mass distribution programs
