Main Areas of Responsibility: 

A key member of a small, supportive team committed to healing the hearts of grieving people. Must lead the organization’s advancement program, meeting ambitious fundraising goals; Fundraising - Donors & Foundations; work with the Executive Director, Board to develop relationships with all donors; be responsible for 2 major annual events; and meet or exceed fundraising goals with all donors to meet operations budget and capital campaign goals to complete the Center for Hope and Healing.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position ensures accurate donor and gift record-keeping & acknowledgments; creates & implements a promotion campaign for major annual events; and leads, supports, strengthens Marketing & Development Committees.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires 3+ years professional fundraising experience; ethical fundraising, demonstrated experience in successful large campaigns, excellent communication skills, leadership and teamwork. Computer savvy with MS Office, GSuite, and Salesforce CRM. Prefer 5+ years professional fundraising experience; awareness of New Mexico’s community resources and leaders, a sense of humor and resilient spirit.
