Donor Relations Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Reporting to the Advancement Director, the Donor Relations Coordinator works to identify, cultivate, and coordinate all donor relationships with the Foundation, including individual, corporate, and tribal. The Coordinator will support the Director in donor prospect research and acquisition strategies; process incoming gifts and assist with individual donor stewardship; maintain the donor database; assist in organizing special events and related expense tracking; and prepare advancement reports.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Coordinator will also implement donor strategies to increase direct giving to the organization; maintain donor relationships, including managing donor database (CRM), updating donor reports, compiling biographical and demographic information, data entry and pulling reports; and process incoming gifts and ensure gifts are accurately recorded and acknowledged i.e. acknowledgement/thank you letters.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree; 1-2 years’ experience in the nonprofit field; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); excellent communication skills; the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work independently, and with a team; and a commitment to the mission of the NB3 Foundation.
