Point of contact as representative of NS to members, allied and affiliated organizations, community and media, including coordinating the weekly newsletter. Help plan annual calendar with clergy, education and community leaders.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Coordinate logistics with organizers of scheduled events; monitor communication through email, phone and text; refer calls to appropriate people; referrals to Mishpocha Committee or Rabbinic Advisor for members in need, distress, illness; and attend monthly Va’ad meetings and prepare administrative updates; archive minutes and other docs of meetings.
Produce weekly Electronic newsletter to publicize events and resources; prepare ads or announcements for events, programs, etc. in local media; coordinate with webmaster updates for website, provide backup redundancy for website; financial/HR; and supervise part-time Bookkeeper and authorize payments for biweekly timesheets/payments for employees and contracted clergy.
