Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Heading Home is looking for a dynamic and passionate Executive Director to successfully lead the organization in achieving their mission which is committed to end homelessness for individuals and families. Progressive executive experience in leading and managing an organization, and experience with government, state, or city contracts.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Experience with social services and programs that serve homeless or other low-income persons and/or families preferred; fund accounting experience preferred; and strong proven experience with organizational budgets and project management required.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Social Services, Planning, Business, or related field; five years progressive executive experience in leading and managing an organization; executive level administrative experience that includes personnel supervision, public relations, and board management; and must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain valid driver’s license.
