Main Areas of Responsibility:
This position is responsible for payroll, taxes, & reporting in accordance with GAAP standards; AR & AP with Quickbooks; all financial reports including for state, federal, & foundation donors, Board of Directors, & internal use; all budgeting; cash flow planning; and maintaining knowledge of state & federal nonprofit finance practices.
Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, crisis-oriented environment; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; clear criminal background check. Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance with two years of practical experience. Working experience in a non-profit preferred. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of QuickBooks software applications. Current Valid NM Driver’s License.
