Human Resources Staffing Coordinator

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Coordinates with hiring managers at all phases of the recruiting process
• Maintains database of job descriptions (according to DOL standards)
• Proficient in employee file record-keeping and destruction (according to state and federal laws)
• Assists in development of the employee policy manual
• Communicates with employees regarding policies and procedures
• Supports payroll and benefits as a backup

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years’ experience in recruiting or HR Generalist functions
• Understanding of employment laws and regulations
• High degree of confidentiality; deal with ambiguity while maintaining productivity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency able to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP designations
• Proficiency in use of MyStaffing Pro or similar staffing software
