Manager, Communications Operations

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the general direction of the Associate VP for Special Projects, oversees marketing and communications staff and students; leads project initiatives, supports the creation and project management of varied communication pieces including but not limited to: donor proposals, corporate communication pieces, website content, event correspondence, direct mail campaigns and public relations pieces.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

As a working manager, this position will execute projects, perform website updates and edits, conceptualize and bring to completion ads, articles, correspondence, and donor proposals. Daily work involves assigning and assisting staff to complete projects; direct work on writing, web, print, and graphic projects; communications with subcontractors, development professionals, writing, and research.

Other Information/Requirements: 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution required;
• Three (3) or more years related experience in marketing, public relations, and strong graphic experience.
• Experience in higher education or other non-profit organization preferred.
