We are looking for an individual who is a strategic thinker, an excellent writer and communicator, and a passionate brand steward to be our Media and Communications Specialist based in Albuquerque, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, or Phoenix.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

•Develops an effective communications plan to support business goals, promote brand identity, and strengthen brand awareness and engagement among stakeholders;
•Builds and maintains business relationships with local, regional and national media;
•Writes, edits and oversees the production of marketing collateral, including organizational publications, announcements, special correspondence, award submissions, brochures and flyers; and
•Enthusiastically upholds Accion’s organizational values.

Other Information/Requirements: 

•Two years public relations, media buying, social media, and marketing experience;
•Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, administration, public relations, communications, or a related field;
•Must have a passion for increasing economic opportunity and access to capital.
•Advancement or development experience preferred;
•Bilingual ability in English and Spanish preferred.
