Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for performing administrative tasks such as photocopy, scan, fax, mail, organizing, and filing tasks (both soft and hard copies); facilitate communication with various participants—clients, grantees, vendors, internal staff, etc. this includes screening clients in-person and/or remotely; and maintaining phone logs of activities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Perform all administrative aspects of grant-making, including support with grant due-diligence. Qualifications: A H.S. diploma or GED equivalent required; AA or BA preferred; 2 years of clerical or related experience preferred; proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required; and demonstrated aptitude to use computer/internet-based systems.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Show flexibility and resiliency in adjusting to the high need and be able to calmly instruct the callers of program requirements and give referrals as needed. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and also work with a team. Must have a strong interest in helping others and ability to respond to cultural differences present among the agency’s service population; Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
