Main Areas of Responsibility:
Data entry, coordinating logistics, putting together welcome packets for visitors, scheduling appointments for the visitors, researching community resources, and some basic administrative duties (answering the phone, mailings, etc.).
The candidate should be available for 20 hours per week. Ideal position for a post-secondary student pursuing a career in International Relations.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Some other tasks may need to be completed if the occasion arises.
Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel – label creation, spreadsheets and formatting.
Can pay close attention to detail.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize.
Will take initiative on research to keep databases current.
Appreciation for cultural differences.
Has access to own vehicle.
Professional and welcoming telephone manner.
Enjoys putting together events and attending events.
Knowledge of bookkeeping is plus!
