Program Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 
The Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico is hiring a Program Coordinator. This person works directly with bereaved families and the volunteers who serve them. We provide these important services when "our kids" are out of school. 30 hours per week, late afternoons and evenings. Some Saturdays. Competitive salary, continuing education, paid vacation and health care benefits.
Additional Areas of Responsibility: 
Must be highly organized, self-motivated and able to function in a small, scrappy, non-profit environment.
Other Information/Requirements: 
Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s in Counseling or comparable experience relevant to grief work and/or support groups preferred. Year for year exchange in relevant experience acceptable. Spanish language skills (conversation and writing) preferred. Two years+ experience in grief and loss field. Able to be flexible in schedule. Comfortable with public presentations. Impressive verbal and written communications skills; proficient with internet, Excel and Word.
