Senior Secretary/Special Event Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Oversees and coordinates the typing and transcription of correspondence, reports, agendas, technical papers and related material for PHF Special Events Program and the Foundation as needed. Takes/transcribes minutes at committee meetings.

Maintains record-keeping and accounting for special events budgets. Monitors special events expenses. Writes progress reports.

Participates in donor solicitation as related to special events.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintains open communications with other departments and various constituencies in the community to coordinate activities.

Provides office management and coordination support to staff in department.

Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules interviews and appointments and performs other duties related to maintaining supervisor's personal schedule.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum Skills/Requirements

High school (G.E.D.). Three to five years experience of secretarial experience and knowledge of various computer software.
