Main Areas of Responsibility:
Horizons of New Mexico procures and manages contracts statewide to increase employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This position is responsible for managing purchase orders and processing payments for contracts. Additionally, this will track and monitor available funds on existing contracts.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The role requires an individual with superior attention to detail. An ability to communicate clearly and evenly, both verbally and written in positive or negative situations, is essential. This position will request and be requested information frequently, so working within a team setting is crucial.
Professional experience managing and processing accounts receivable and payable; higher education in accounting; or a combination of experience and education. Preference is given to applicants with bachelor’s or associate’s degrees in accounting or bookkeeping, professional experience with Salesforce, and/or advanced knowledge of database software. Professional customer service experience.
