Main Areas of Responsibility:
Will engage in support services for clients in the Access! Program by providing skill building training for youth and young adults’ ages 14-24, resulting in employment, post-secondary education, registered apprenticeships or vocational certification. Facilitate life skills development groups, education, and workforce development services and referrals. Assist the Coordinator in networking with community collaborators and partners on and off site in order to enhance relationships and activities.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Facilitate the transportation to and from job site/educational activities as well as case management and counseling appointments. Provide job coaching and demonstrate positive relationship building with Access! Participants. Will provide some case management as needed.
GED or HS Diploma or Associates. Bachelors preferred but not required. Minimum two years relevant experience/background work in the human services field. Position requires physical strength & endurance, experience working with youth and young adults ages 14-24, strong work ethic and leadership qualities, and an ability to demonstrate professional expectations in a variety of environments
