Agency Description:
We are a statewide organization working to create a network of six regional GLBTQ community centers across New Mexico. Our mission is to reduce homophobia and enrich the lives of individuals living in New Mexico who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning through education, advocacy, support, example and collaboration.
Position Description:
Voting member of our Board of Directors. Provides guidance and direction in support of the success of NM GLBTQ Centers. Participates in planning and fund raising. Contributes time, talent and resources to achieve NM Centers mission.
Expectations:
Attend scheduled Board meetings (most via conference call), participate on at least one committee, make a substantial personal financial contribution annually, actively engage in fund raising and serve a three year term.
