Volunteer for a ‘Make a Difference Day’ Nonprofit Project

Primary tabs

Make a Difference Day, the largest National day of community service, has been celebrated on the fourth Friday and Saturday of October for over 20 years. Millions of people like you volunteer to improve the lives of those in their communities by doing good!

Each year, nonprofits in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho post a wide variety of projects that individuals, community members and groups can volunteer for during the annual Make a Difference Day weekend.

If you have any questions regarding posting a project, or volunteering for one, please call the MDD hotline at 505-245-1759 or e-mail Diane Hinte at [email protected].
