Help Santa Fe Community College Determine Local Needs for Workforce Training

Goal: Prepare a Qualified Workforce.

Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) and Innovate+Educate have teamed up to launch a survey to determine local needs for workforce training.
The goal is to gather information from the community in order to develop and deliver tailored workforce training and professional development to assure a qualified and prepared workforce. About 20 organizations are supporting the initiative.
The survey will run through June 24, 2022 and all employers who participate in the survey will be entered into a drawing to win a $350 gift certificate to take their employees to lunch.
Survey results will help the college better serve the community’s workforce training needs, which will strengthen our community and enhance economic opportunities. - Cecilia Cervantes, SFCC Interim President
The college’s Continuing Education and Contract Training program offers a full range of noncredit courses, workshops and trainings to the community. “We’re eager to expand our offerings and the survey results will help us determine employers’ needs,” said SFCC Director of Continuing Education and Contract Training Kris Swedin.
Innovate+Educate is a nonprofit focused on shifting training, hiring and advancement strategies to ensure low income workers are provided access to learning and employment leading to lifelong economic success.
