The New Mexico Grantmakers Directory is a searchable, online database of grantmaker profiles designed to:

• Provide grantseekers with information about funding opportunities to pursue
• Provide grantmakers with an opportunity to clearly state their missions and funding areas

CNPE has partnered with the New Mexico Association of Grantmakers to build the database in order to further grantmaker-grantseeker relationships and to build capacity for New Mexico nonprofits by providing access to a variety of funding opportunities.

"I am on the board of a small adult literacy non-profit.  Finding information on funders seemed like an insurmountable task.  That was until we started using the NM Grantmakers Directory.  The Directory not only identifies grantmakers, but provides essential information: whether a grantmaker accepts LOIs, the average grant size, the geographic and funding focus, and the all important contact information.  My organization uses the NM Grantmakers Directory, and has received funding from some of the grantmakers listed in the Directory.  It is an excellent tool and in my experience better than the subscription (pay) grant directories one finds elsewhere."
