Mission Statement: 

OASIS is a nonprofit education organization dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults. Our mission promotes the philosophy that lifelong learning and community service support healthy aging.

Programs: 

Enrichment Program offers 300 topics annually in the arts, humanities, current events, health and wellness, as well as travel. Short-term classes are taught by academics and professionals in the local community.

Volunteer Intergenerational Tutoring Program in association with ABQ Public Schools and the Rio Rancho School District. Volunteers are trained as tutors and mentors for students K-4 who are below appropriate reading level.

Veterans History Project, a volunteer oral history project that is part of a Library of Congress initiative. Volunteers are trained to do oral testimonies of veterans.
