Mission Statement: 
Metropolitan Homelessness Project's Albuquerque Opportunity Center's mission is to provide creative, innovative and high-quality shelter and services for people experiencing homelessness in our community, while cooperating with neighbors and the broader community to end the injustice of homelessness
Programs: 
We are dedicated to helping men who are homeless create a second chance. We accomplish this by offering emergency shelter and programs in a safe and supportive environment that promotes self-worth and self-determination. We have 74 beds available for men to stay up to one month each year. 15 of our beds are reserved for Veterans. Another 6 are for respite care. Our resident services include: - Clean bed and linens - Clean shower, towels, and toiletries - Free local and long distance telephone - Reading and TV room - Discounted bus passes - Spiritual Companions - Storage - Individualized homeless exit planning - Community Voice Mail - Financial assistance with rent or a security deposit
