Mission Statement: 

Explora is dedicated to creating opportunities for inspirational discovery and the joy of lifelong learning through interactive experiences in science, technology and art.

Programs: 

Explora is a new kind of learning place for people of all ages, providing real experiences with real things that put people's learning in their own hands. It's a place where families can learn together and individuals can explore through 250 experiential exhibit activities in science, technology and art. Explora offers a variety of exhibits and more than 200 educational programs that reflect our experiential, inquiry-based approach to learning. Explora offers: - Exhibit Explorations - Classroom Explorations - Winter, Spring and Summer Camps - Educational Theater Programs - Science Fair Workshops - Professional Development Workshops for Educators - Outreach Programs - Overnight Camp-Ins - Youth Intern Program - Growing a Scientist - Science to Grown On - After-school Clubs - Programs for Adults and Seniors - Traveling Exhibits- - Adult Night: an event for people 18 and over to experience all of Explora's exhibit activities without the "kids" - Ideas, the Store at Explora (proceeds from sales benefit Explora educational programs) - Many programs offered in Spanish - Two full-length live plays annually, various shorter plays throughout the year Any questions or comments about our programs should be directed to the Explora reservations coordinator at 505 224-8341 or [email protected] Para espanol llame 505 224-8323
