Our mission is to provide one-time emergency financial assistance to families in the Southeast Albuquerque area who have suffered a minor financial crisis. Our hope is to fulfill short-term emergency needs and thereby make a difference in a family's long-term stability.
Southeast Womenade of Albuquerque has one program - providing one-time financial assistance to working families who are financially overwhelmed due to a short-term crisis. The assistance can be provided in the form of gas cards, child care support, rent, assistance in time of medical illness, etc.
Southeast Womenade of Albuquerque serves families who live in Southeast Albuquerque, including families with school-aged children ranging from preschool to high school as well as elderly people with limited incomes, in need of one-time emergency financial assistance.
Womenade does not offer long term financial solutions. Instead, our hope is to fulfill short term needs that make a difference to a family’s quality of life. We provide one time emergency financial support to families who have suffered a small financial crisis. These crises could overwhelm them and force them to relocate or change their way of life which could impact their ties with their community and/or educational support systems.
