Peer networks can be a powerful tool for capacity building. The Center for Nonprofit Excellence has organized several networks that are available to local nonprofit organizations to strengthen their capacity, exchange ideas, and receive or develop mentoring skills:

• Executive Director Leadership Circles
• AFP-CNPE Mentorship Program
• Young Nonprofit Professionals Network

Executive Director Leadership Circles

The leadership circles are facilitated peer groups for nonprofit Executive Directors and CEOs, with an emphasis on peer to peer professional development, sharing of best practices and resources. AFP-CNPE Mentorship Program

The Center for Nonprofit Excellence and the Association for Fundraising Professionals-New Mexico Chapter have partnered together to create a Fundraising Professionals Mentorship program. Seasoned fundraising professionals are paired with fundraisers new to the field or new to the community. For more information and to participate, please Contact Amy.

Young Nonprofit Professionals Network 

The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) is a network of young people actively engaged in the nonprofit sector. YNPN promotes an efficient, viable, and inclusive nonprofit sector that supports the growth, learning, and development of young professionals. We engage and support future nonprofit and community leaders through professional development, networking and social opportunities designed for young people involved in the nonprofit community.

Scholarships to support young nonprofit professional leadership are available to attend CNPE- sponsored workshops.
