Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 
The Board will support the work of the Rio Grande Community Farm and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by RGCF’s Executive Director and staff, the Board-Executive Director/staff relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected.
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 
RGCF grows and distributes fresh, organic produce to diverse populations in Albuquerque including schools, food banks, non-profit organizations, grocery stores, restaurants, and other consumers. RGCF operates a community garden that welcomes volunteers and encourages its members to donate produce.
