Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Help the Forest Service open Capulin Snow Play Area! Volunteers will be trained in December to help staff Capulin on MLK and Presidents' weekends. Bring your friends and have a blast making it possible for people to sled and tube at Capulin.

This project will allow hundreds of children to have safe winter play in the Sandias.

The Forest Service will provide training. You will become an official Forest Service volunteer!

Additional Requirements: 

Volunteers need to have their own warm winter clothing since they will be outside at 9,000 feet while working.
