Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 
Media Literacy Project is looking for volunteers that can help youth produce short videos. We primarily work with girls ages 13-20 on video projects. Assistance needed includes helping with production and editing of the videos. If you enjoy teaching and working with youth and making videos please contact Jessica at MLP!
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 
Through our Girl Tech Collective and Girls Toolbox programs, young women will share their stories connecting to reproductive health, gender, and body image. The Girl Tech Collective will be needing assistance June-October 2012. The Girls Toolbox class runs the last two weeks of June in 2012 and takes place from 1:40-3:30pm.
Nonprofit Will Provide: 
Refreshments and snacks can be provided during the classes and sessions. Some training can be offered but volunteers should have some basic media production experience. Volunteers need reliable transportation.
